Christmas carolers at the Meacham house

How excited were we last night! Around 6:30 we see this pick-up truck drive up with a large trailer filled with lights and pretty little girls. I yell to Foster to come and see what is going on. He peeks out of the window and starts to jump up and down. When they get to the door and I open it he clams up. What a weakling. All of these girls standing at his door to spread Christmas cheer and he gives them NOTHING.
Familiar faces were Anna Clinton and Avery Lee, Whitney and Claire Cothern, Lissa and her girls(yes one of those would be Susan) and many others. They sang Away in a Manger perfectly. For you Greenwood people that may be reading this you will see that Avery has forgotten some of her Jo Quinn Smith lessons from music at Pillow Academy. In this picture it does not look like she is opening her mouth wide enough to where she can enunciate the words properly. Avery for your sake I hope that Mrs. Smith does not read my blog.
All in all is was great. McNeil was entertained and it seemed like at the end Foster was puckering his lips. So he must have seen someone to his likings out there.

Norris Christmas Party

Last Friday we had a great time at the Norris Christmas Party. I am so glad that Stephanie and Jay are cousins. Otherwise I do not know if I would have made this prestigious affair.
Here are few photos of the event. We were the last to leave and the only ones to be thrown out. In my defense...I did not have a watch on, Jay's sister was babysitting and it was a great time....so how in the world was I suppose to know that it was 1:30?
In the photos are me and Delia, Jay and Jack Norris and then the last two are of the Norris girls and the Norris family.
You will see that it is an off gaurd picture of the Norris girls. I am posting this because I want you all to see Ashley's eyes. These are the eyes I got at the end of the night. The other picture is of the guys saying, "please don't leave" and then there is Stephanie yawning hinting that it is time to go.
If I could make it up to Sarah I would by her beautiful house...unfortunately we are still in recession.

McNeil met Santa.

We had great time at River Hills Saturday. McNeil met Santa and did not want to get out of his lap. That is very opposite of Foster's first meeting with Santa. Foster did not care for Santa this year either. He would not even get in his lap to tell him what he wanted fo Christmas. Ho sad:(

We ran in to Avery Lee and got a cute pcture with her too.

Hanging around....

Here are a few photos of the boys from Saturday morning. McNeil is trying to crawl off the couch in one. I am impressed that he looked up at the camera when I called his name. The other is the two of them hanging out on the couch together.

Sweet McNeil's Baptism

November 1st was McNeil's baptism. It was a wonderful day and we are so thankful that our families were there to share it. Here are some photos of the day.

Sarah Few is the coolest person ever!

Last night Sarah was in town with Newt. We have always known that Sarah gets to work with these powerful political minds, but it was great to see her in action. She and Newt seemed like they were BFF. He also knows how to work a room and say the right things.
Newt came up to the three of us said that we reminded him of his wife and her best college friends. Of course we loved that! Then someone came up and said that he needed to get a picture with the congressman's family(Gregg Harper) and he told them to wait and continued talking to us.
So thanks to Sarah we had a great night and felt more important than the congressman's family.
