Egg Hunt at River Hills

Foster's t-ball game was called off Saturday, because of the storm that came though on Friday.  This allowed us to go the egg hunt at River Hills.  This looks like the year that Foster will really enjoy hunting eggs.
Afterwards, Michael Boerner was playing tennis.  So Foster was able to cheer on his godfather before we left.
 Look at all my eggs!

"Can I give McNeil one of my eggs?"  What a great big brother!

Spring Break 2011

We had a great spring break.  The weather was perfect and the boys were able to go and visit with both sets of grandparents.  They played very hard with all of their cousins too.  Friday we picked the boys up and went to Oxford for the weekend.  Other than the craziness that surrounds the playground at the baseball field it was a relaxing weekend.  We were able to eat out, walk around the square, take in a couple of baseball games and play in the grove.  One thing I love that the square has(now that I bring my kids) is the yogurt shop.  I felt like I was back in Martha's Vineyard(fortunately I did not have to scoop everyone's ice cream).  There is just something about strolling the area at night and being able to stop ad enjoy something cold.

2011

It has been a long time since we have made a post.  I hope that there are still people out there that want to see how the Meacham's are doing.  To be honest there is not that much to report.  We have been busy with the boys and we are trying to take one day at time to maintain our sanity.  McNeil and Foster have a tendency to wear us out!

McNeil's birthday is coming up in April.  He will be two.  I have felt a little sad about it.  He is no longer a little baby and is now a wild man.  If it was up to me I think I would have another one everytime we start aproaching two.  You just can't beat the smell of a little baby and the innocence they bring:)
Foster turned four in January.  He started soccer a few weeks ago and we are going to attempt t-ball in a few weeks.  The word attempt is used strongly.  At this age they are just running around like chickens with their heads cut off, but they are having fun:)

Wow!

It seems like we have been going non-stop and I am about to pull my hair out.  I do not think things will be back to normal until Thanksgiving.
I am making my self stop before I run to get the boys from school.  I have to post the pictures from our trip to Chatanooga, TN and the Aquarium.  Last week me, Mom, Foster and McNeil went on a LONG trip.  I had to work at Sewanee and Memphis, but we had a day that we were able to go to Chatanooga and have fun.  Mom was a great help and Jay got to get some rest while we were gone.
In the pictures you can see that McNeil loved the aquarium.  When McNeil and Mom went back for a nap Foster and I went back.  He seemed to like it a little more when it was just the two of us.

The last pisture is John Sharp Pillow.  We stopped in Greenwood on the way home.  Foster could not wait to see him and wish him a happy 10th birthday!

The Masoli Curse

Ever since Jeremiah Masoli hit Hollingsworth Field on September 4th, it seems like our lives have been Nutts. The good news is that life seems to be getting back to normal.
Here are a few photos we have taken over the past few weeks.

Wow! What a great week we just had. We have been in Florida for the past 8 days with my family and it was wonderful. Jay and I did not even think about work. Ok...Jay might have a couple of times...but that is pretty good for him.
McNeil and Foster had a great time. Anna Claire was there to play with MaNeil and Foster got to play with Walt and Swayze. James and Harris did not go with us this year.
Here a few photos from the week. I did not get my camera out much and Mom and Dad did not make it in any of my photos.

Father's Day

We had a great day yesterday. We went to the pool around noon and swam for a few hours. Then we came home and we all took a long nap. After that we put our bathing suits on again and went back to the pool. The boys love it. We look forward to florida in the three weeks.
